i recived a message on gmail it was in russian from steam, thank god i dont buy anything from any app
@ExtraGamer2003 Still social engineering to back up the phishing attempt. Always contact Steam official contacts and report the suspicious emails that look like legitim. I once got an email from my bank about updating my personal info. I was extremely suspicious, so I called directly the bank and reported the thing. They confirmed it was them, but they also thanked me for doing so since scammers try to fake legitimate actors.

Wow, yesterday I was educating a person who got his account stolen on Discord with the same identical scam (here his journal: https://sonicfan113.newgrounds.com/news/post/1551480), and I was wondering if this type of scam arrived here too. Well, I had my answer. Thanks for the warning!
The boy got his account back after contacting Discord official support page.
